A 45-business women delegation yesterday left for Dubai for a 7-day business trip aimed at scouting for business opportunities and networking with other women entrepreneurs in the Asian giant.
In an interview with the ZBC News before their departure at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, Head of delegation Dr Abigail Magwenzi said the aim of the visit is to scout for business opportunities.
Dr Magwenzi also said they will use the opportunity to launch their book titled The Women We Want in Dubai which seeks to empower women.
“We are going to Dubai with the aim of looking for business opportunities as well as launching our book titled the Women We Want,” said Dr Magwenzi.
The delegation hopes to network with other business women and bring the expertise back home.
Due to its favourable economy, Dubai is one of the top most destinations for business people and investors in Africa and the whole of the Middle East.
