joseph-made.jpgThe Minister of Agriculture Mechanisation and Irrigation Development, Dr Joseph Made yesterday met a visiting delegation from the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA) to exchange information on agriculture related issues chief among them crop and livestock assessment.

 

The USDA delegation met Dr Joseph Made to share notes on the latest and most effective crop and livestock assessment methods which are being used by developed.

 

Briefing the media after the meeting, Dr Made said there was need to train and develop human resources for effective crop and livestock assessment.

 

The USAID Director for Zimbabwe Ms Karen Freeman Said, the American delegation led by agricultural attaché Linston Terry was keen to work with their agriculture counterparts in Zimbabwe and expressed hope that the interaction would result in positive developments for the sector.
