Following a disappointing showing in their World Cup campaign in New Zealand earlier this year, the Zimbabwe Under 19 cricket team is now undergoing a rebuilding exercise, with their latest assignment being South Africa’s tour of Zimbabwe.

Currently in camp for the crucial series against South Africa which will begin on the 4th of next month, the Zimbabwe Under 19 coach, Robin Brown is delighted by the team’s preparations highlighting the progress the squad has made in intergrating new players with the boys who took part in the World Cup.

The Zimbabwe Under 19 will play their South African opponents in four 1-day internationals, before locking horns in two T-20 encounters in which Zimbabwe will be looking up to the likes of Tinotenda Mutombodzi and Dylan Higgins for inspiration.

The South Africa Under 19 team is scheduled to arrive in the country on Wednesday ahead of the first of four ODI’s penciled for the 4th of July.
