A 21-year-old University of Zimbabwe (UZ) student, Robin Craig, who is representing Zimbabwe in this year’s Chinese Bridge Competition, is optimistic of clinching the World Cup of the Chinese bridge competition.
Craig is making huge strides in China as she is now on the 7th position out of 70 nations.
Speaking from China, Craig said she is optimistic of clinching the title evidenced by her previous performances.
Zimbabweans are now being encouraged to vote for Craig through the Chinese Bridge Competition website or on We Chat.
The Chinese proficiency competition for international university students is a large-scale international contest sponsored by the Office of the Chinese Language Council International in Beijing.
To date, over 600 000 college students from 110 countries have participated in the competition.
