It is a double football header this Sunday which will see Dynamos taking on Mozambiqucan Liga Muculmana in the return leg of the CAF Champions League first round but action will have started off at the Aquatic Complex in Chitungwiza where the Zimbabwe Futsal national side will take on Sudan in a five aside Africa Cup qualifier.
The squad returns to competitive action after 14 years in wilderness.
The five aside team says they are looking at their period in the wilderness as developing phase and are hoping that come Sunday they are going to conquer Sudan.
Zimbabwe’s chances of progressing to the first round have been eased after CAF ruled that Sunday’s preliminary tie will be the decider.
This emerged after Sudan cited lack of facilities and requested that the preliminary round’s two legs be played in Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe last played in the 1998 World Cup qualifiers where they narrowly missed qualification after finishing third behind Egypt and Libya.
The match will kick off at 1PM.
