ilo organisation.jpgZimbabwean representatives from the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare are in Switzerland to attend the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Governing Board 2011 Agenda meeting which will run from today until 18th of this month.


The Permanent Secretary for Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Lancester Museka says some of the issues to be discussed in Switzerland include the ILO budget, international labour standards, food security and workers rights issues.

Zimbabwe was elected into the ILO governing board this year and has been commended for making progress in adhering to the ILO recommendations by the organisation’s delegation that visited the country to meet legislators and workers’ organizations.
