Zimbabwe and Pakistan are co-hosting an air power seminar at the National Defence College aimed at providing practical information and building skills in effective use of air assets in modern warfare.
The purpose of the seminar is to transfer knowledge to the participants on the modern concepts of air power, its evolution and effectiveness.
Commandant of the National Defence College Air Vice Marshal Michael Tedzani Moyo said Pakistan and Zimbabwe have a lot of experiences to share in air power strategies and their relevance to national security.
Pakistan Karachi Air War College Commandant Air Vice Marshal Pirzada Kamaluddini outlined how the seminar is important in the exchange of knowledge on air power between Zimbabwe and Pakistan.
The seminar, which is running under the theme, ‘Air Power, the Weapon of First Choice’ will enable participants to appreciate the dynamics of air power and its contribution to national security and successful outcome of a military operation.
