Zimbabwe today joins the rest of the world in commemorating the World Health Day.
The commemorations which are being held at Harare Hospital are running under theme: ‘Mental Health Disorders’.
Guest of honour at the commemorations the Minister of Health and Child Care Dr David Parirenyatwa has toured facilities of the newly built psychiatric hospital.
The hospital was built with the support of Medicins Sans Frontiers.
The commemorations come at a time when Zimbabwe is facing challenges for mental health care drugs and lack of human and financial support.
