painting2.jpgThe Zimbabwe German Society is hosting an exhibition of paintings, drawings and graphics featuring two young artists.

The month-long exhibition is running under the theme, ‘Zimbabwe Images’.

The art exhibition features the works of two young artists – Richard Mudariki and Mukudzei Muzondo, whose colourful pieces of artworks appeal to the viewer.

Mukudzei worked with various techniques in an impressive artistic manner, while Richard explores his dreams in various portraits done in mixed media.

The two young artists, who graduated from the Midlands State University, believe that creating art by using a brush on canvas or board provides the greatest freedom of expression as they are no boundaries or limitations.

Various media themes are explored in their pieces.

The exhibition is a visual representation of the artistes’ reflection of the history of Zimbabwe, and the present.

It is expected to encourage young Zimbabwean artists to go into cultural exchange programmes between Zimbabwe and Germany.
