Zimbabwe Football Association president Phillip Chiyangwa has acknowledged the need for a transformation of Zimbabwean football.
Chiyangwa has admitted a lot needs to be done to develop the local game.
Addressing guests at the Northern Region Division Awards held recently, Chiyangwa outlined the need for vibrancy in developing the local game as he cited government as a key stakeholder in shaping the future of Zimbabwean sport.
There was huge concern recently when the Zimbabwe Under 20 national team was eliminated from the 2017 COSAFA championships before reaching the knockout stage.
Zimbabwe has struggled at junior level over the last decade resulting in analysts raising concern over the future of the game.
