The Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Honourable Energy Mutodi has urged Zimbabwean entrepreneurs to be innovative by creating their own enterprises.

Speaking during the official launch of the Business Manual, a book with guidelines for up and coming entrepreneurs in Harare today, Honourable Mutodi encouraged the youths to be courageous and innovative in establishing their own companies.

“I encourage youths not to expect easy things in life but to be innovative and establish their own companies. All these companies start small but with time they grow to become big businesses,” he said.

The book was published by a local media company and was co-authored by Mr Fidelis Fengu who also represents young entrepreneurs with disabilities.

Mr Fengu said young people should create their own destiny and help government in reducing unemployment.

“It is upon each one of us as young people not to wait for government to give you jobs but this book will help provide essential guidelines on creating your own empires,” he said.

The Business Manual is a must read for all aspiring entrepreneurs and covers subjects such as  writing business proposals, sourcing for capital, cashflow management among others.
