An 80 member delegation has left Harare for Beira, Mozambique to commemorate the life and sacrifices of the late former Mozambican President, Cde Samora Moises Machel in solidarity with FRELIMO cadres.

The visit, which is a collaborative effort from the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) and the Harare Province Arts and Culture Foundation, will see the members of the group interacting with their FRELIMO comrades over a two day period.

Chairman of the Harare Province War Veterans Association, Cde Elphas Chitera instructed the delegation to conduct themselves with utmost discipline during the visit while Secretary General for the Harare Province Arts, Sport and Culture Foundation, Cde Last Mbizvo said Zimbabweans can draw a lot of lessons from the life of comrade Samora Machel.

Members of the Johanne Masowe we Chishanu apostolic sect, war veterans’ wives and youths are also part of the 80 member delegation, which is expected back on Wednesday.
