South African based Zimbabwean businessman Dr Frank Buyanga has been inducted as an ambassador for youth leadership and entrepreneurship by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation (PAYLEF)at the just ended 2019 Young Entrepreneurs Summit held in Ghana.

The founder of the African Medallion Group, Dr Buyanga who two months ago received an award at the World Business Leaders’ Summit and Honours held in Dubai, has once again been honoured in yet another testimony of his efforts in transforming the continent and assisting youths across the continent to realise their potential.

Running under the theme: “Business beyond Borders,” the summit also provided a platform to celebrate some of the most influential young entrepreneurs who are contributing to shaping the economic future of Africa.

Commenting on the continental honour bestowed on the Zimbabwean businessman, Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) Chief Executive Officer Mr Christopher Mugaga said young people in the country and abroad should take lead in the realisation of African Union Agenda 2063.

“We need to see more Zimbabweans and youths across the continent taking a lead in the transformation of regional economies and contributing to the realisation of the AU Agenda 2063,” he said.

Convener of the summit which attracted 50 young entrepreneurs from across the continent, Salako Omatayo said the platform provided an opportunity for Africa’s young entrepreneurs to interrogate some of the challenges facing regional economies and opportunities which can be harnessed in achieving the “Africa we want” agenda.
