Zimbabwe ‘A’ wrapped up a three-nil match series against visiting Canada when they beat visitors by 70 runs at Harare Sports Club in the third and final match.
Zimbabwe ‘A’ won the toss and chose to bat.
Zimbabwe made several changes for the third and final limited 50 overs match after clinching the series on Thursday with a game to spare.
Recalled batsman Hamilton Masakadza hit 143 that included 20 fours and a six for Zimbabwe ‘A’ as they cruised to victory.
Another change young Innocent Kaia brought in to open with Mire hit 41 that included three fours, as did Malcolm Waller as Zimbabwe ‘A’ ended their 50 overs on 310 for 6 wickets.
Captain Graeme Cremer and Mutombodzi were 9 and 22 not out.
Wellington Masakadza, Donald Tiripano and Christopher Mpofu did not bat.
C Pervez and Rizwan Cheema were the pick of Canada bowlers with two wickets each while Junnaid Siddiqui and M Montfort picked a wicket each.
Canada were 290 for 9 in reply with V Sehedev 58 not out, opener N Kumar 41, captain Tariq Hamza on 35 and M Montofort 19 tried hard to push up the run rate.
Sikander Raza butt was the pick of Zimbabwe bowlers with three wickets, Solomon Mire two, Christopher Mpofu, Donal Tiripano, Wellington Masakadza and Malcolm Walller one each.
Zimbabwe won the first match by two wickets, the second by 78 runs and the third by 70 runs against the visitors who now shift their focus to a tour of Uganda.
Zimbabwe also shifts focus to the tour of Netherlands and Sri Lanka in June.
Canada last toured Zimbabwe in January 2015 for a 50 overs series which Zimbabwe won 3-1.
