ZIFA has fired a strong warning to individuals who take on coaching jobs at clubs without having the required qualifications.
ZIFA Vice President, Omega Sibanda gave the stern warning at a CAF B Licence coaching clinic held in Zvishavane.
He told the 26 participants at the coaching programme that the practice where non-qualified coaches take on jobs at clubs is robbery not only of opportunities to the qualified but also retrogressive to advancing football from grassroots.
The course, which was held from May 7 to 22, saw the participants taking a final CAF Level B examination, which they all passed.
Among some of the notable names in the group were former football legends, Gift Lunga Senior, Luke Petros and Daniel Vheremu.
In the past such courses were only conducted in Harare and ZIFA has promised to take them to all provinces to ensure that the biggest beneficiary is grassroots football development.
