zifa.gifTwo of the three aspiring ZIFA board member finance candidates are pegging their turnaround strategies on good governance believing that a good image of the national football association will open the gates for the corporate sector to pour in financial resources.

The three horse race for the ZIFA board member finance will pit Joseph Musariri, Rtd brigadier general Elliot Kasu and outgoing PSL treasurer Oliver Manyau.

The finance post is a critical role that will shape the outlook of football. For Manyau a transparent month on month audit on the association’s finances and implementation of proper systems and procedures is his yardstick to sound administration.

In the same vein Rtd Brigadier General Kasu says he is a visionary leader with an intention to harness abundant financial opportunities that lie untapped.

Both Manyau and Kasu are not new in football administration. Manyau comes with vast experiences gained at the now defunct Kadoma based side Eiffel Flats before he moved on to become PSL treasurer where he boasts of having been the first treasurer to release an audited financial reports for the year.

Kasu has also has immense experience as chairman of former Premier League side Black Rhinos who are now plying in the ZIFA Northern Region.
