ZESA Holdings power expansion projects will be delivered on time with 150 mega watts from Kariba South set to be injected into the grid in December this year.

This was said by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Power Development Mr Patson Mbiriri at the ZESA management risk awards in Harare.

Mr Mbiriri said Kariba South expansion will be complete and operating by December 24 this year while other projects will come into line in the first quarter of next year.

Mr Mbiriri also indicated that efforts are being directed towards maintaining the current status quo where there is less load shedding.
