ZCFU President Donald Khumalo says his organisation has embarked on a drive to increase farmer membership and to mobilize stakeholders in the agricultural sector to forge ways of improving capital and the winter wheat crop yield.

Mr Khumalo said they have engaged manufacturers, the banking sector and insurance companies, so that farmers can access capital, inputs to improve productivity.

The move by ZCFU follows the 33 million President’s Well Wishers Agricultural Input Programme which benefitted more than 55 000 farmers across the country.
