The late ZBC News and Current Affairs producer/presenter Patience Mahuku Hondo has been laid to rest at Muchando village in Bvekerwa area in Rusape.

Speaking at the burial Manager bulletins Mr Moses Charedzera described Patience as a dedicated journalist who discharged her duties professionally with the national broadcaster for 14 years.

Speaking also at the burial, Headman Muchando encouraged the community to invest in children’s education and to plough back to the community as shown by Patience who established several programmes in the community especially in arts and education.

Patience died on Tuesday this week after a short illness and she leaves behind husband Lucious and three children.
