The production team says it now in the process of compiling the videos which will be aired from New Year’s eve till the following morning.

Zbc Chief Producer in the Television Productions, Mr Paul Gama says they are happy with the improvement in the quality of videos submitted to the national broadcaster adding that they have received overwhelming response from viewers through the Zbc sms , email and mail platforms.

“The videos must have gone through our viewing committee, we have a number of videos that were voted for that have not gone through the committee, so we do not consider them and the artists are aware of that,” said Mr Gama.
Executive producer, Mr Nkosana Vuma says though they continue to face problems in viewers voting for the popular song and not the best video there has been notable improvement in the competition.

“Sometimes people vote for a song that does not even have a video on ZBC TV, so we do not have an option but to nullify such votes,” said Mr Vuma.

The 2010 edition of the Top 50 Videos of the Year is one of the best as there are big prices for both the artists and viewers.
