President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s clarion call for peace and tolerance is a message that has been received well by the Zanu PF Youth League given the thousands that turned out for a solidarity march this Wednesday (today) in the capital.

Addressing the multitudes of Zanu PF youths gathered at the Robert Mugabe Square, the party’s National Secretary for Youth Affairs Cde Pupurayi Togarepi said they are rallying behind the President Mnangagwa’s election promise of having a violence-free nation before, during and after the national polls.

Speaking at rally after the march, Zanu PF Harare Province Chairman, Cde Godwin Gomwe who organised the event said Zanu PF youths and supporters in general should remain vigilant and steadfast in the face of provocation from opposition parties adding they should only focus on voting for the ruling party.

As the nation moves towards the 30 July elections, campaigns by political parties has intensified ahead of the polls.
