Deputy Secretary for Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment in the Politburo, Cde Tendai Savanhu told youths in Mbare that while a war was fought to liberate the country from the colonisers, the struggle for economic emancipation has taken a new dimension in face of illegal sanctions hence the need to restore Zanu PF as the ruling party in the next elections.

Zanu PF Harare Province Youth Chairman, Cde Jim Kunaka also urged the youths to stand vigilant against any forces intending to destabilise the party and peace prevailing in the country saying the youths will never stand by and watch as former colonisers and their local proxies seek to reverse the gains brought by the liberation struggle.

Cde Tendai Savanhu also handed over soccer kits and balls for the youths noting that it is important to ensure that as empowerment programmes are being implemented, it is also crucial to cater for young people’s leisure time.
