Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Rugare Gumbo told ZBC News that the revolutionary party’s Politburo, Central Committee and the National Assembly will converge in Harare this week to iron out some of the grey areas in the elections roadmap time-frames.

Cde Gumbo said the party will also consider some of the burning issues such as the holding of primary elections as well as long awaited general elections.

The Zanu PF spokesman said the party’s highest decision making body, the politburo, could not meet over the past two weeks due to some commitments by the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe, adding that the forthcoming Politburo meeting has come at an opportune time that will see the party addressing critical issues of national interest.
