Zanu PF Harare Province says it is working from the grassroots level to come up with party structures that are people driven ahead of the forthcoming general elections in a move meant to ensure the party recaptures all seats lost in previous polls.
Speaking on the sidelines of an exercise held to verify District Co-ordinating Committees (DCCs) in Harare South Constituency, Zanu PFÂ Head of Commissariat in the Harare Province, Cde Onismor Gore told ZBC News that the party seeks to solidify its structures as part of their preparations to win the next elections with a wide margin.
The partyâ€™s Harare Province Political Commissar in the Womenâ€™s League, Cde Agnes Msarurwa called upon women to come up in large numbers from grassroots structures as they constitute the largest constituency of the electorate countrywide.
Zanu PF Harare Provinceâ€™s Vice Chairperson in the Womenâ€™s League, Cde Miriam Rutendo Chikukwa said the current restructuring and verification exercise is aimed at strengthening the party through massive mobilisation which continues to gather momentum daily.
With poor serviced delivery witnessed from MDC-T led urban councils, analysts predict that Zanu PF will register a landslide victory.
