Zanu PF Midlands Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting has adopted a provincial activity calendar in preparation for this year’s harmonised elections.

The province held its first PCC meeting where it deliberated on the state of the party, its performance in the bio-metric voter registration (BVR) exercise, as well as strategising on how to continue mobilising more people to register.

Speaking to the ZBC News on the sidelines of the meeting, the party’s provincial spokesperson, Cde Cornelius Mupereri said the province has come up with strategies and adopted a calendar of events that will deliver a resounding victory for the party in the forthcoming harmonised elections.

Cde Mupereri also noted with concern some constituencies in the province which he said had legislators who were using state resources to create disharmony in the party.

Meanwhile, preparations for the First Lady, Cde Auxillia Mnangagwa’s visit to the province on the 9th and 10th of this month and for President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s indaba with chiefs on the 12th are said to be well on course.
