Zanu PF party members in Silobela have been urged to register in their numbers under the new biometric voter registration system that requires all eligible Zimbabwean voters to register anew.

As the ruling party intensifies the voter registration and mobilisation campaign, Zanu PF secretary for Administration Dr Ignatius Chombo told party members in Silobela to make sure they acquire identity documents to enable them to register as voters in next year’s harmonised elections.

Speaking at the same occasion Acting President Emmerson Mnangagwa said the party should seal a resounding victory for President Robert Mugabe in the forthcoming elections.

Zanu PF is currently engaged in biometric voter registration and mobilisation awareness campaigns nationwide.

The party aims to register at least 5 million supporters for the 2018 harmonised elections.
