Zanu PF Masvingo Province has called on all leaders from cells to the province to intensify efforts in educating their members on the significance of registering under the new biometric voter registration (BVR) system.

As the 2018 general elections draw closer, voter education campaigns are being carried out by political parties, churches as well civic organisations, among others.

The Zanu PF party in Masvingo Province is calling on all its leaders to maximise efforts in ensuring that their supporters register to vote, saying their vote is the only way of ensuring the revolutionary party stays in power.

Addressing Zanu PF members during an inter-district meeting held in Chivi, Masvingo Minister of State, Dr Paul Chimedza warned party supporters on the dangers of not registering to vote.

Addressing the same gathering, Zanu PF Masvingo Provincial Political Commissar, Cde Jappy Jaboon said the provincial leadership has started an investigation to identify individuals who travelled from Chivi to Bulawayo this past Saturday to cause commotion at the 9th Presidential Youth Interface rally.

The individuals booed the First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe while delivering her speech.

The provincial leadership will be moving across the province updating members on state of affairs in the party as well as carrying out voter registration campaigns.
