Zanu PF Masvingo Province says no time shall be wasted as they are now intensifying their campaigns following the proclamation of the elections date.
This came out during a Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting in the province today.
The 30th of July has been proclaimed to be the day Zimbabweans will take to the polls to cast their votes leaving political parties with just two months for campaigns.
Zanu PF Masvingo provincial chairperson Cde Ezra Chadzamira said there is no time for internal squabbles and all party members and aspiring candidates should focus on ensuring that the party wins.
“This is no time to focus on individuals. We are now focusing on the party name. Let’s make sure that the party wins. (Haisisiri nguva to focus on individuals. We are now focusing on the party name. Let’s make sure kuti party ndiyo inohwina), ” he said.
The meeting also discussed logistics for the presidential visit set for the 8th of June.
The President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to visit some companies in Masvingo before he proceeds to address a rally at Mucheke Stadium.
