webster shamu as commissar.jpgThe Zanu PF Mashonaland West Province has held its second annual provincial inter-district conference at Selous amid calls by the party’s National Political Commissar, Cde Webster Shamu, for those aspiring for top posts to have unquestionable leadership qualities.

 

At the meeting, the Zanu PF Secretary for Lands, Cde Ignatius Chombo, said the delegates condemned politically motivated violence that erupted in some parts of the country recently.

Also at the meeting, all the district coordinating committees in Mashonaland West have endorsed the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe as Zanu PF’s candidate in the forthcoming Presidential elections.

 

Meanwhile, the Zanu PF Harare Central One District has held a workshop to educate its executive members on the importance to know their respective roles within the revolutionary party.

During the one day workshop, Zanu PF Harare Central One District Chairperson, Cde Abraham Samushonga underscored the need of unity of purpose among all progressive Zimbabweans.

Cde Samushonga also emphasised the need for people to register as voters in preparation for elections scheduled for early next year.
