The Zanu-PF National Fundraising Committee will be hosting the fundraising dinner.

The Committee’s Chairman, Cde Noah Mangondo said they are expecting up to 500 delegates and the party has opened a fundraising account with a local bank which well-wishers and the corporate sector can deposit their donations.

“We have fundraising activities that happened in various provinces and we are set to host the national fundraising dinner on 24th of November at the HICC. This provides a platform for those wishing to partner with Zanu-PF to come forward and participate for the successful hosting of the National People’s Conference,” said Cde Mangondo.

Cde Mangondo added that the National People’s Conference will run concurrently with an expo calling upon the business community to exhibit their products during the conference.

“We also have the Manicaland expo 2010 which we are calling business people to take part in the exhibition of products from the 15th-19th of December. It is a great opportunity to market firms’ products,” added Cde Mangondo.

Though some provinces have already announced the amounts they managed to raise, the National Fundraising Committee however could not avail actual figures of the money that has been raised so far nationally.

The National People’s Conference runs from the 15th to the 19th of December.
