Zanu PF says it is forging ahead with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s economic thrust of delivering an upper middle income economy by 2030.
This came out when the ruling party’s Politburo met at the party headquarters in Harare today in a continuation of the assembly convened last week.
The meeting further discussed how the party is going to implement the First Secretary’s vision.
Zanu PF Secretary for Administration, Dr Obert Mpofu said the party’s leadership will also be taking part in a political dialogue as well as the national leadership prayer breakfast.
On some people mostly in rural areas who are likely to face food shortages according to a Zimbabwe Vulnerability Assessment Committee Report, Dr Mpofu assured that no-one will be left to starve.
Five rural districts of Mutoko, Nyanga, Nkayi, Beitbridge and Umzingwane are among the country’s most food insecure areas.
