The Zanu PF Politburo dissolved Harare and Bulawayo provincial structures.
The decision was made when the ruling party’s highest decision-making body met at its national headquarters in Harare this afternoon.
Presenting a Politburo report, Zanu PF Secretary for Legal Affairs, Cde Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana said the party’s main wing, youth and women’s league structures have all been dissolved.
He also revealed that the vote of no confidence passed by the national Youth League against some of its executive members has been declared null and void.
Cde Mangwana said the Commissariat Department presented a report highlighting a number of programmes that have been lined up, among them rallies, to enable President Emmerson Mnangagwa to interface with the electorate.
Speaking at the same occasion, Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Simon Khaya Moyo described the recent renewal of sanctions on the country by United States as illegal.
He reiterated that Zimbabwe is not a colony and will not be deterred from re-engaging with whoever it pleases within the international community.
