Speaking to the Namibian Ambassador, Dr Phanduleni Kaino Shingenge, who had paid a courtesy call at his national party headquarters in the capital, Zanu PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo expressed disappointment at the level of violence that has recently rocked the country perpetrated by MDC-T supporters.

Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe has consistently and publicly denounced violence and called on all Zimbabweans to co-exist regardless of political affiliation.

The latest wave of violence unleashed by MDC-T supporters saw the party’s supporters attack members of the Zimbabwe Republic police who were trying to arrest vendors selling illegal pirated CDs along Nelson Mandela Avenue adjacent to Harvest House, the party’s headquarters.
