Zanu PF losing and winning candidates in Bulawayo have been urged to work together to ensure the victory of the revolutionary party come election time.
The Zanu PF Bulawayo province is now in full election mode with primary elections winning and losing candidates urged to bury their differences for the good of the party.
Addressing journalists after a Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting (PCC) in Bulawayo, the party’s Provincial Chairman Professor Callistus Ndlovu called for teamwork to ensure victory at national level.
“Our message is very simple. We held the primary elections and that period is over. It’s time people start working together for the good of the party,” said Professor Ndlovu.
Professor Ndlovu had no kind words for some party members who are bent on smearing others by accusing them for being NPF members saying only those with proper proof will be entertained by his executive.
“If we are going to pull the trigger simply because a report has been made we will be behaving exactly the way the G40 operated. We need to differentiate ourselves from the way those guys used to do business. Our duty is to build the party and not to destroy it,” he added.
The PCC meeting also witnessed the introduction of all winning candidates who will represent the party in the general election.
