The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) will this Wednesday launch an awareness campaign against corruption at the City Sports Centre in Harare.

The campaign, which will be held under the theme: ‘You and I Against Corruption,’ is viewed as an opportunity for the commission to regain public confidence.

Commissioner Farai Chinyani said the programme is expected to bring life to the commission by engaging the public to join in the fight against corruption.

There are high expectations on the issues to be addressed by President Robert Mugabe who is set to officially launch the campaign.

Anti-corruption activist, Mr Dumisani Mthombeni believes the President will address issues to do with financial and legal challenges that affect the smooth operation of the commission.

The campaign is expected to commence with a march from Town House in the morning to the City Sports Centre where hundreds of people are expected to gather.
