Youths should shun being cry babies who blame the economy, the government of the day and even the education system for all their failures.
This emerged at the United Methodist Youths Fellowship awards night in the capital yesterday.
Unlocking the youth potential in a Christian way in these trying times was the call by Reverend Tineyi Chiwara as the youths are the light of the world and also the salt of the world.
Method Musendo the president of the Youths Fellowship said it is important that Christian fellowship among the youths guarantees a good and prosperous life among those who believe that Christ will always answer to our prayers.
Representing the Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Dr Chris Mushowe, a United Methodist congregant was Reverened Maxwell Chambara who said youths need discipline and industry so as to win in all their aspirations.
Reverened Chambara said youths have the energy, the know how and what is needed is better networking.
The awards ceremony cuts across all the activities from 2015 to 2016 in all the Harare Central districts.
It was a night that also brought the corporate world and the Christians together.
