Young business people in Mashonaland East say they are ready to contribute towards the successful implementation of the devolution agenda.
In an effort to ensure young people play a leading role in the successful implementation of the devolution agenda, Young Business People Association Mashonaland East Chapter held a seminar to explore business opportunities in the province.
Association leader Mr Nigel Madongo said they are ready to contribute towards the growth of provincial economies.
“It is always important for us as young people that we understand our role in the devolution agenda so that we make positive contributions,” he said.
Mr Kevin Musekiwa, a young entrepreneur said young business people have a role to play in the revival of the country’s economy.
“Devolution can only be a success if the young people in our communities take a leading role in the country’s economy,” he said.
The seminar was attended by young business people as well as students from schools and institutions of higher learning from the province.
