Youths should come out the woods and demand their constitutional right of 25 percent stake in all government’s blueprint ZIMASSET projects.

The Presidential Youth Interface rallies aimed at providing a platform for youths to present their wishes and aspirations to the President Cde Robert Mugabe has started to bear fruits with the United Nations joining hands with Ministry of Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment to craft a vibrant Youth Policy.

Youth in leadership and members of the United Nations and government officials converged in Harare to brainstorm how best they can tackle some of the pertinent issues raised during the Presidential Youth Interface rallies.

The Minister of Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment, Cde Patrick Zhuwawo told the youth to uphold President Mugabe’s advice to fully utilise the constitutional stake of 25 percent in national projects and ZIM ASSET.

The national consultations on Youth Policy dovetails well with the African Union theme on youth: ‘Harnessing the Demographic Dividend Through Investing in Youth’.
