The Zanu PF Youth League and Fort Hare Former Students’ Association have hailed the renaming of the Harare International Airport to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport saying the move is a befitting honour which will be cherished by generations to come.
The decision by cabinet to re-name the Harare International Airport has brought smiles to the Zanu PF youths who have been advocating for the move.
Zanu PF Youth League Secretary Cde Kudzanayi Chipanga commended the government for the decision saying re-naming of the biggest airport to Robert Mugabe International Airport will be a befitting honour to the Presidents’ visionary leadership.
Cde Chipanga’s comments were echoed by Fort Hare Former Students’ Association chairman, James Makiya who said the honour bestowed on the President will be remembered by generations to come.
Government has set the 9th of November as the big day the Harare International Airport will be renamed Robert Mugabe International Airport.
