Youths have hailed President Emmerson Mnangagwa for retiring long serving ministers, saying the bold decision to give a chance to vibrant technocrats and youthful ministers will bring the much needed expertise and innovative ideas to revive the economy.   

The injection of fresh blood in the new cabinet has brought confidence across all sector of the economy with the appointment of the likes of Kirsty Coventry to the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation stealing the limelight as youths embraced it with joy and optimism that she will bring the much need expertise to empower the young generation.

Youth in agriculture are happy with the new cabinet which they say is full of energetic women, youths and mixed with experienced technocrats who can bring innovative transformation in line with global socio-economic and political trends.

President Mnangagwa has overhauled his cabinet bringing new blood and retiring most of the long serving cadres including Cde Simon Khaya Moyo, Cde Patrick Chinamasa and Dr Obert Mpofu, among others, whom the President said will be re-assigned to serious party business.
