The Zanu PF youth league says no amount of money or politicking will sway the party organ from supporting the leadership of President Robert Mugabe.
“The youth league remain guided by the party resolution that declared President Robert Mugabe as a life president and will not tolerate individuals within and outside the party seeking to undermine the President’s authority,” says Zanu PF Secretary for Youth Affairs, Cde Kudzanai Chipanga.
He was addressing the Zanu PF Harare youth league provincial executive in the capital.
Cde Chipanga urged the Harare provincial executive to up its game ahead of the 2018 harmonised elections and nullified the intended move by some members of the executive to fire the provincial chairperson Cde Edson Takataka.
Cde Chipanga said he is aware of the plot to destabilise the party by influencing the wing’s leadership in Bulawayo to resign.
He said the vacancies left by those who resigned in Bulawayo will see other members being co-opted into leadership positions.
