The Zimbabwe Under 23 soccer team who were scheduled to depart for South Africa this Thursday for an All Africa Games Qualifier will now leave on Friday.Team manager Wellington Mpandare says the team failed to depart due to delays in releasing funds required to acquire tickets for the trip.
Mpandare however remained optimistic indicating the minor setback would have no result in the teamâ€™s overall performance.
The Zimbabwe Under 23 soccer team however continued with preparations after holding an afternoon training session at Gwanzura stadium.
The Young Warriors will now depart for Johannesburg South Africa on Friday morning.
The Young Warriors will be looking up to players such as Archiford Gutu, Matthew Rusike and Lloyd Zvasiya to lead them to victory when they lock horns with Amagluglug in an All Africa Games qualifier at Senaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
