calving.jpgA young painter currently studying an honors degree in Fine Arts at Chinhoyi University has worked on a wildlife picture exhibition, titled, “Rural tales”, which reflects great creativity in interpreting life experiences.

The beautiful picturesque images depicting wildlife in a rural setting reflects the great artistic talent by the young Chinhoyi student Calving Chimutuwah.

The portraits all done on canvas using oil were painted by Chimutuwah after reading the literature novel, “Animal farm”, He tries to visualize some satirical scenes from the narrative with a fusion of his rural life experiences.

The images were done with great creativity and skill as one may mistake them for real photos.

Richard Rennie Art gallery curator Jaime Ballantyne who has worked with Chimutuwah describes the young man as a great painter as his works have been appreciated by many.
