The Zanu PF Women’s League National Executive is holding a meeting at the party headquarters to examine and assess the events of last week where provincial executives countrywide held demonstrations against national executive members Cde Sarah Mahoka who is Secretary for Finance in the women’s league and Deputy Secretary Cde Eunice-Sandi Moyo.
The meeting comprises the 40 national executive members and the 10 provincial chairpersons of the women’s wing.
Addressing the meeting this afternoon, the National Secretary of the wing and First Lady, Amai Dr Grace Mugabe said the meeting aims at examining the issues raised by the demonstrators and allegations with a view to ascertaining whether they are true, genuine or not and coming up with recommendations that will be forwarded to the politburo and the disciplinary committee for final decision.
Cdes Mahoka and Sandi-Moyo are being accused of insulting Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, insubordination and fanning divisions in the party and creating parallel structures.
They are both accused of going against party procedures among other misdemeanors.
