Women’s football league resumes this weekend with the highly anticipated match pitting log leaders Black Rhinos Queens and Correctional Services Queens postponed.

The teams drew 1-all at Chikurubi’s Wagadhugu Stadium three weeks ago before the league went on three week break.

Blue Swallows Queens host ZRP Queens at Manyame Airbase on Saturday at 11am while Conduit Soccer Academy face Hearts of Oak Queens at Madhodha Stadium.

Midlands State University host fellow students Herentals at MSU in Gweru. 

Weerams Queens host City of Harare Queens at Glen View 4 Primary School at 11 am.

ZRP Harare Queens square off with Faith Drive Queens at Morris Depot on Tuesday 21st August at 11am.

Cyclone Stars host Bulawayo’s Borrow Jets at Chirodzo School in Mbare while Auckland Queens and Zvishavane Queens match is on bye.

Black Rhinos still lead the Zimbabwe Women’s Soccer League on 37 points from 13 matches played, having earned 12 wins and a draw.

The army side has scored a staggering 64 goals conceding just 4.

Correctional are second on 29 points from 13 games played, winning 9, losing 2 and drawing one.

They [Correctional] scored 36 goals and conceded 8.

Harare City are third, a point behind Correctional Services Queens after scoring 39 against six, lost one, drawing two matches.
