A multi award winning businesswoman has urged fellow women in the country to be bold and ignore the negative comments from detractors if they are to make meaningful growth in their business endeavours.

Dr Rangarirai Gunda who is in the safari industry business has become a household name for her philanthropic works and outstanding business acumen which has seen her outpacing her competitors in the tourism sector year in year out as she continues to stock her trophy cabinet.

Born Rangarirai Muzvidziwa in 1961, Dr Gunda said going to war in 1977 toughened her to overcome any challenges that might come her way in pursuing her life goals. 

The safari operator who recently won the southern region businesswoman of the year award said it is not easy for women to penetrate in the safari business industry because of stiff competition.

The award winning businesswoman said her goal is to make waves on the international scene and encouraged fellow women help each other in growing their businesses.
