This came out at the launch of the Zimbabwe agenda for accelerated country action on women, girls, gender equality and HIV (ZAAC) in the capital.

Speaking at the launch of the Zimbabwe agenda accelerated country action on women, girls, gender equality and HIV  (ZAAC), the Minister of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development, DR Olivia Muchena said women bear the brunt of HIV infections and need economic empowerment.

Health and Child Welfare Deputy Minister, Dr Douglas Mombeshora said there is need to craft HIV preventive initiatives that target women.
