Women’s University in Africa launched its second transformational strategy for 2016 to 2010 where it was noted that the promotion of women should be on merit as they seek leadership positions.

Guest speaker at the event Cde Prisca Mupfumira who is the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare urged women to continue aiming higher and strive for leadership positions, added that this should be done on merit.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Hope Sadza said the strategy launched was developed in consultation with internal and external stakeholders and it captures local, regional and international trends and emerging issues in the provision of higher education.
