Parson who toured the Harare Childrenâ€™s home in the capital where he donated several food stuffs, clothing and toiletries among other gifts promised to school pay school fees for the children among other things.
â€œGiven more time I will also adopt more charities, l will now try to source funds for the needy, we need to do more even at individual level.
â€œNo matter how small the gesture the feeling is greatâ€, Wendall said.
Children from the home could not hide their joy and expressed gratitude towards Wendallâ€™s gesture.
Director of the childrenâ€™s home, Mrs. Mariah Sithole urged fellow Zimbabweans to emulate Wendallâ€™s noble gesture and spare a thought for the needy.
â€œWe are happy as this is the biggest donation we have received in a long time and we urge others to emulate what he did today,â€ Sithole said.
Parson scooped the first prize of US$200 000 in the Big Brother Amplified.
He later received fifty thousand dollars from the Head of State and Government and Commander In Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe.
