MDC Alliance leader Advocate Nelson Chamisa has vowed that his party will thwart any attempt to rig the election through some mechanisms it has put in place.

The MDC Alliance took its campaign trail to Murombedzi and Norton in Mashonaland West with party leader Advocate Chamisa telling his supporters he is deploying a legion of sober electoral agents to meticulously observe the election.

He said he is already preparing for a transitional government and celebrations that will surpass the magnitude experienced in 1980.

Chamisa declared that any result in favour of incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa should be deemed fake.

While in Norton, Advocate Chamisa tore into independent candidate Themba Mliswa describing him as a hypocrite who could not be relied on after the MDC helped him clinch the Norton seat in a by-election in 2016.

In five days time Zimbabweans go to polls on Monday the 30th of July.
